Continuing North On the ICW

Friday, March 8th

Honestly, I've seen more sunrises on this trip then ever!

Carter is afraid we've forgotten how to sleep in anymore.

Radar saying.."Finally! He's so well potty trained that he just isn't into taking care of his business on the boat and holds it until he's finally busts.  He just doesn't understand why we keep on passing all those trees but he really enjoys the short time he gets on land.

The seagulls like sandbars...boats, not so much!

Back in the channel heading north.  We really have to watch the channel markers and stay in the channel at all times because the constantly shifty sandbars make the chartplotter almost useless in many areas, particularly close to inlets. We have run aground several times when the chartplotter said we were suppose to have 10 feet of water under us.

I'm guessing this is how the other half lives.  Hmmm

Some sites along the ICW

Damn Sandbars!

One of the many swing bridges along the way. This one had a particularly grumpy attendant.

Saturday, March 9th

Today, we continue heading north towards Tampa.

More beautiful homes along the ICW

Here you go folks.  This one is for sale!  Anyone interested?

The Sun Bridge, Tampa Bay

We're not sure what this was but we think it's the remains of a ship.
