I like it.
Carter is demonstrating how it will tilt outward whenever we want air to flow through. He has mounted the window on a piano hinge.
While he was working on his window, I was working inside the anchor chain locker. There is an inventory of 10 assorted anchors onboard. LOL Plus all assorted lines and chains for the anchors. Heavy stuff.
This area was stuffed full with scuba tanks, assorted fenders, lines of all kinds, anchors and chains.
There is one very interesting anchor called a stock anchor that Carter tells me is used by the Navy. It's huge, heavy and probably will not be coming out of the locker. (Especially if it's up to me to move!) It's secured safely inside and it's a good idea not to change things that work well. I don't think I can get the camera in to get a picture of it.
As I was cleaning, I was able to get a picture of the bad boy. And as I stated...that thing is not coming out of there. I will be painting around it.
I also emptied, cleaned and primed the wet hanging locker immediately to the right in this picture.
And we come to the end of another very nice day in Labelle, Florida along the Caloosahatchie River.
Beautiful photos, Diane.... beautiful.
ReplyDeleteCarter is pretty handy as carpenter.
