Work continues on the pilot house.  It's design continues as Carter progresses.

Just as a side note...we tried to get the washer working but were unsucessful so out it came.  Talk about heavy.  I bet this small washer weighs as much as a full size one!  Nick has found a later model washer/dryer in Alabama.  When we go to visit Tera we will swing by and check it out.

Another nice "toy" on the boat that works just fine is the water heater!  Yea man!  As I understand, this Tital model is brand name for American Water Heater made in China.  It works great and is very much a luxury as there is not much better than ending the day with a nice hot shower.  The water is then pumped out with the sump pump Carter fixed the other day!  Super nice.

What have I been doing?  I got on my hands and knees and scrubbed the parque floor in the salon, cleaned a second round on the ceiling in the dinette and also cleaned out the refrigerator in preparation for Carter to get it working.  Right now we are using 2 small dorm size fridges.  They work just fine but this is not ideal.  We just need time to get everthing done.  It's coming along.

Speaking of the galley, I see that I haven't mentioned that we purchased a camp stove since we moved out the old stove.  This coleman purchased from Wally World works just fine and gets the galley functioning.  We are now cooking, eating, and washing the dishes on the Halcyon.  Progress, as we were having to cook in the Airstream and carry the food down to the Halcyon to eat and wash up.  Very inconvenient.

That's all for now.  We are heading to WalMart for more supplies today and then back to work on the pilot house.  Can't wait to see how it looks in the end.
